General
Anaesthesia Dentistry
Dental
treatment involving fillings and simple tooth removal can often
be carried out using local anaesthesia (injections). However,
for some children, especially
the very young ones, they may be very
anxious or afraid. They have difficulty in controlling
movements or remaining still throughout a chairside procedure.
Hence, a general anaesthetic may be the only option. This places
the child in a state of temporary unconsciousness which keeps
them from being alert or moving during the procedure. And the
wonder is, they will not even
remember a thing
after they woke up!
